Collective Agency stages a HOOK arena show as the centre of the brand.

Brand identity and a radically visual website for an avant-garde live-production studio

HOOK

HOOK

HOOK designs and directs live experiences — stage design, motion design, lighting and media servers for arena shows, festivals and award nights across Europe. Collective Agency developed the brand from the ground up: a wordmark and design system built for high contrast, the applications that carry it into the physical world, and a website that presents the studio’s work like a curated exhibition. The result positions HOOK inside a progressive international creative scene rather than the agency mainstream.

Instead of conversion mechanics and dense information architecture, we built a curated digital portfolio that gives every project room to work. The site functions less like an agency website than like the visual extension of a live show.

Instead of conversion mechanics and dense information architecture, we built a curated digital portfolio that gives every project room to work. The site functions less like an agency website than like the visual extension of a live show.

The identity works with hard contrast: a signal yellow, a black arrow-and-wordmark lockup, and a typographic system reduced to the essentials. It was designed to survive the conditions it lives in — dark venues, backstage passes, lighters, tote bags, printed matter — and to read at a glance from a distance. The website follows the same conviction. Large-format motion elements, immersive transitions and dynamic content push the stage designs to the front and let them speak for themselves; classic conversion mechanics were deliberately left out. Colour, contrast and confidence place the brand somewhere between fashion, music video and contemporary live culture. Today HOOK reads as a studio that belongs to the scene it builds for.
