The online portal MyCamper rents motorhomes and camping vehicles from private owners to private renters, similar to the Airbnb model. Currently, the portal offers nearly 2,000 vehicles. “Our primary goal was to increase awareness of the MyCamper brand. The focus was on addressing both potential renters and camper owners with a single message,” explains Lars Kienle, Project Manager at Neum.

At around fifty locations in Zurich, both moving and static ads are being displayed. “The advertisements take existing, real vehicle listings from MyCamper and complement them with wit and a wink,” explains Joël Wyss, Concept Lead at Neum.

The original idea for the tone of the ads came from the client itself. As such, the campaign fits not only the target audience but also the startup-driven culture of the MyCamper brand. “The subjects are ideal for a DOOH campaign: witty, expressive, and very aesthetic,” says Justine Lacroix, who was involved in the project on behalf of MyCamper.
